I got a bit preoccupied with testing some animations that I forgot to post an entry yesterday.
Yes, I also suffer from mundane human problems. How drole.

Someone suggested to me that finishing my PhD in 5 years is considered quite a lengthy amount of time. Well, excuse me for not being a friggin genius and finishing an entire research project in less time. You try doing every single preparation, wet-lab, dry-lab, analysis, validation, and writing all on your own, and finishing in less than 5 years.
Add exhibitions and presentations to the list, while you’re at it. Albeit I had varying amounts of help on those parts. For which I am grateful.
Also, don’t get me started on the months of waiting for the paperwork to go through. So, shut yer trap.

I was in Kelantan for Eid al-Fitr last year, and it was a good opportunity to see my army of nieces and nephews. They’re a bit reserved about letting me hold em since they don’t see me too often (I’m not too used to holding kids also, whatcha gonna do. Haha).
That moment when your nephew stretches his arms out so that you’d pick him up for the first time.

I finally made time to watch The Normal Heart (2014) a few nights ago. Since it had great reviews, I gave it my full attention, rather than let it play in the background while I did something else on my laptop/tablet.
Honestly, it wasn’t the reaction I expected to have. Some scenes were so faktap I found it disheartening that it’s probably based on true events. Not a big fan of Taylor Kitsch’s monologuing near the end there though, just thought I’d get that across.
